Advantage of a Four Color Output Offset Printing Machine
When you want to print
a high resolution image, you should prioritize the offset printing option over
the digital print. The print output made
by offset printing has a better resolution compared to the digital print
because offset uses ink while digital printers use toner. Offset printing is sharper and more cost
effective.
There are different
kinds of offset printing machines which you can find in the Philippine market
place today. The offset printing
machines used in offset printing Philippines are 4 color output machines which print
a full color print in one pass. This type
of printing is quicker because it can print 5000 thousand sheets in one hour
while the other most common offset printing machines can print 5000 sheets in 1
day.
Now, we are using the 28x40 and 20x29 and 28x40 full color komori machines that are capable of printing upto 10,000 sheets per hour, a lot faster than ordinary offset printing machines do. These machines are certainly able to deliver good quality output in a shorter period of time.

The most common offset
machine that the competition uses is the single color offset printing. The single color offset printing will have to
print a full color image in four passes.
It prints first the cyan, then the magenta, next the yellow and finally
the black color in order to complete a full color image. A full color image by the way is composed of
cyan magenta yellow and black or otherwise known as the CMYK.
You will also notice
that the color consistency of the single pass four color printing compared to
the single color printing is pretty obvious because the final output of the
single color press can only be seen after the final black ink is printed, and
the most experienced operator cannot guarantee the final outcome while still on
the process of printing. Compared to the
4 color output machine, the operator can right away see the color imbalance as
soon as the first sheet is printed, hence, defects can easily be corrected
which cannot be done with the single color offset machine.
The only disadvantage of
the four color offset machine is that it takes longer to set up before a print
can be done. It is best advised though
that when you used a four color offset machine, the projects should be in high
quantity to cover for the tedious preparation to print a single project. When the set-up is done however, printing
100000 pieces is a breeze, a ten hour run or probably a 20 hour run is possible
while a single color offset could possibly do in 1 week time or even more.
My experience after reading your post is very great and I was very impressed with your post and images. You are using high quality images and its help you to grow in the offset printing industry.
